The debut of Hisense TV in India raises the question of whether Hisense and VU TV is the same. If not, which is the preferable option? Just a moment. Is it true that both TVs are identical? From our way of research, the answer is no.

However, we’ve heard that they’re both the same. And which is the superior option? This is what I shall discuss in this blog today. I’m going to compare VU with Hisense TV in a really unique way.

In this comparison, I’ll look at the differences between the Hisense and VU televisions, as well as the specs that are useful and important. Before you come to a conclusion, read my point of view as well.

Let’s compare Hisense 4K ultra HD TV and VU 4K ultra HD TV

The design, resolution, and refresh rate of these TVs are identical. Is their panel, however, the same? NO, both televisions have 8-bit FRC VA DLED screens. HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG are all supported by both panels. However, the highest brightness on the VU Ultra T.V. is 400 nits, whilst the maximum brightness on the Hisense is 300 nits.

Both TVs have identical video features, with the exception of one key difference: Hisense TVs include extreme dimming technology, which means that Hisense TVs have better blacks than VU TVs.

Whose picture quality will be higher if VU has more brightness and Hisense has ultra dimming technology? Although there isn’t much of a difference, the picture quality in Hisense is superior because VU indicates peak brightness.

Peak brightness is computed by darkening the entire television screen and putting all of the brightness in one box in the centre, and Hisense TVs include Ultra dimming features that produce darker blacks and more vibrant colours.

Both TVs come with Android-9 OS and a Chromecast built-in. The Cortex A55 CPU and triple-core GPU are identical in both devices. Both contain 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The same may be said for the software and hardware sectors.

Sound Effects

Both brands provide 43-inch 24-watt speakers and 50- and 55-inch 30-watt speakers with bottom-firing box speakers. Are they, however, the same? NO, because VU only supports Dolby Digital, whereas Hisense exclusively supports Dolby Atmos.

Dolby Atmos compatibility does not come from simply sticking in a few of screws; it comes from using various speakers. Both TVs have very different audio systems.

Both TVs come with a Bluetooth remote with hotkeys for Netflix, Hotstar, Youtube, Amazon Prime, and Google Play with the Google speech assistant. Both televisions offer three HDMI connectors, two USB ports, and all necessary ports such as Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band WiFi. Connectivity options are identical.

Conclusion:

So, what are your options? Which television should you purchase? You can buy VU if you can obtain it for a reasonable price. If I had the option to select between Hisense and VU, I will always go with Hisense.

The reasons I chose Hisense are slightly higher picture quality, slightly better sound, and a large investment from Hisense, which has plans to create 1,000 service centres in India, something VU will never be able to do.

It is entirely up to you to purchase whichever television you desire, but whatever you do, please let me know in the comments section.
