Pipe bends machines can bend any form of metal pipe, regardless of material or size, and they vary from portable equipment to hinged devices to large hydraulically driven machines. 

Metals are bent using a variety of methods. Several of them are listed below.

Press:

In cold tubes, a press bend is used, in which a die in the shape of the bend is used to push on the pipe, forcing it to be bent in the shape of the curve. 

Nevertheless, with this arrangement, the pipe has no internal support, which increases the likelihood of the metal being distorted. 

When a uniform cross-section of the pipe is not needed, the press technique works well.

Rotary Draw Process

Rotary drawing is a procedure that provides a perfect finish. It employs die sets, which consist of two parts: the former die and the counter die. 

The former die creates the shape, while the counter dies pushes the material into the former die. 

This procedure is used to bend pipes for motor vehicle roll cages, handles, handrails, and other applications. These benders may be configured to store numerous bend jobs.

They also produce flawless bends when the appropriate die sets are employed.

Three-Roll Push

Three-roll push procedures are freeform processes that are used to build shapes with several bending curves as well as 3D shaping. 

The metal bend profile is directed between two rolls, the bending roll and the supporting role, in this case. The third roll is the shaping roll, which helps define the radius of the bend.

Heat Induction Process:

During the process of heat induction, a pipe is bent with the help of an induction coil, which is then positioned at the spot where the pipe bends. 

As the coil warms up, it may reach temperatures between 430 and 1200 degrees centigrade. When the pipe has been heated, pressure is applied to it, and this pressure causes the pipe to bend in the intended way. 

After that, a water or air spray is used to bring the temperature of the pipe down. 

The bending of huge pipes, such as those used in power plants, highway signs, and petroleum pipelines, is accomplished with the use of this method.
